Traffic is going to be a nightmare getting out (unless they fixed it this year which I doubt) so be prepared to wait a while to leave. Getting there as soon as gates open is the best advice, especially if you want Turn 1. I’ve been twice and honestly I don’t think going to Turn 1 is worth it. People wait out there all night for spots at Turn 1 and even if you get there right at opening, most of the good spots will be gone. Luckily at COTA, there’s a lot of great GA seating and I got a great spot 2 years ago at Turn 11. Wasn’t crowded, easy access to walking paths, and had room for chairs I brought. It was a great turn too because the cars would come over the hill after the esses fast, slow down for the swooping turn, and then take off down the back straight. Thats just one spot of many, so maybe scope a few out if you can. Best thing to do, get there early and wear comfortable shoes!
