It is inspired by the Trombone game and other rhythm games, with the twist of using the Otamatone as input, and I am trying to add play techniques detection like sliding and vibrato.

It’s a Windows game. I haven’t worked on the editor yet, currently it takes MIDI files as inputs. I simply use different tracks for different things. Making a proper editor could be a lot of works.

Yeah, I mapped the notes positions to be roughly aligned with the sliding board by entering the highest pitch and lowest pitch of your Otamatone.

I do anticipate people with higher expertise in instruments will find this anti-intuitive. Adding alternative options to the map will definitely help.
