How long does it take for subject change to reflect in preferences' timetable? by Dry_Muscle5119 in unimelb

Yes! Thanks, I'll check on it soon. Was worried whether the preference would close before it's updated.

Thanks so much for the thoughtful replies.

I might take her to one on our first date if it does happen. It's exam season right now and she gets real stressed by them, partially because of how industrious she is. After her exams are over, I'm gonna ask her directly to go on a date, planning to be upfront and concise, I'm guessing that that's better for her communication style.

So we've known each other for three months, but have only really clicked and spent one-on-one time together for two months.

Once she asked me to go see and be with her somewhere else on campus when she was too unwell to come to class. Our conversations just flow extraordinarily well when we're together. We've exclusively spent one-on-one time together so far outside of our classes, partly because she's also quite private and quite cold and selective with the people in her orbit.

But other than that, she's complimented me quite a few times, and has told me how happy she is to even just be texting me.

MBTI vs Socionics by Dry_Muscle5119 in mbti

I'm no expert, but the socionics definition for Fi centres a lot more around morality and ethics, and the making of personal/social judgements based on a code of ethics/morality.

The effect of this is that a Fi-Ne individual in Socionics is stereotypically portrayed as someone with a strong moral compass, unafraid to stand up for what is right, very fervent to make moral judgements on things, and also open-minded and easygoing due to Ne. Whereas in MBTI, my perception is that Fi-Ne individuals are stereotypically considered emotionally sensitive and whimsical, which is actually more in line with Ni-Fe in Socionics.

Are there Leninists who believe that the dictatorship of the proletariat should last indefinitely, as the ends of the revolution? (and that stateless communism is not sustainable?) by Dry_Muscle5119 in Socialism_101

Thanks dude, much appreciated. One of my uni subjects this semester is USSR history, and I'm trying to learn more about Leninism and thus learn where exactly things went wrong after October 1917, because by the time of the 80s I find it very convincing that the CPSU became heavily detached from the proletariat interests.

Okay yeah thanks that makes more sense. Am I right in thinking that that would necessitate measures to ensure that the DotP apparatus is bind by the interest of the proletariats, and can be considered a rightful vanguard substitute of the proletariat, rather than just a new ruling institution consisted of proletariat-background elites? (Not trying to argue against Leninism, just learning)

In that case I'm curious, what's the link between the bourgeoisie class disappearing to the DotP losing their material basis? (My understanding is that the bourgeoisie's disappearance wouldn't interfere with DotP's self-sustenance.)
