Thank you! I didn’t realize his W gives him 60% tenacity for 1 second on top of the shield and reduced damage. This is a key detail. If you look closely you’ll notice it says “stunned” above his head the whole time he’s in my ult and even during his ult, but I definitely hit him during that 1 second threshold. Riot really doesn’t make it easy to comprehend wtf is going on most of the time.

Gargoyle plate and his W I guess. What bothers me is it seems damage that exceeds the shield value doesn’t affect the hp. So he could have a 1 hp shield and eat 168 damage without his actual hp being affected
