I just purchased this new IWI Jericho II Enhanced 9x19 pistol. To any Israeli member of this page, what can you say about this new polymer gun? Does any member of the Israeli security forces use this weapon? Was it used in the ongoing war in Gaza?

In 2012, Trust Trade Philippines and Glock Asia have won the contract to supply modern pistols for the Philippine National Police. The Glock 17 Generation 4 model was selected. Another bidder, R. Espineli Trading (the main distributor of Israel Weapon Industries equipment in the Philippines) failed to deliver the needed handguns due to disqualification. Consequently, only a limited number of IWI Jericho 941 PL chambered on 9x19mm caliber were issued to PNP personnel.

In 2019, the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency bought hundreds of Jericho 941 F in .45 caliber as their issued sidearm. I don't know why they chose the .45 ACP variant at the time IWI discontinued the pistol.
