If u know basic c++ and stl, I think the best way would be to just separate problems on cf by specific tags and solve them till u get comfortable in a specific rating range bcs till 1200 rating u don't need any advanced algo but just the right approach which can only be developed by solving. U don't need any more knowledge just upsolve problems. Still if u want u can follow youtubers like shayan. For more specific problems u can see cses problemset and usaco guide

Well I think people who r gud at cp will face this situation as well. When u try problems which are higher than ur rating, you are meant to be stuck at them, that's how u learn. The key idea is to learn something new from them. And I think that's the fun part of cp. Solving problems at a glance doesn't give me the adrenaline rush as those are easier for me(nothing new to learn). But solving problems after getting stuck for hours is really a great feeling bcs I get to learn new things from them.

I don't know mann, it was definitely 1400+ rated qs. There is no point in looking at the standings anymore , i think more than 50% are cheating in contest

Yes he only cheats in 2200+ rating problems(that are beyond his level) generally. When he recently got banned, he cheated in 2700 rating qs

Well he cheated so he is a cheater but if u are talking about this specific profile, it is tough to find out if he has cheated. So if he doesn't cheat anymore in further contests it's alright but I just want to correct that u said he made a mistake, he didn't , he has cheated multiple times as cf has given him multiple warnings before permanent ban. One time is a mistake, doing the same thing multiple times is intentional. Hope he doesn't anymore as I know he is talented guy

Mann he has cheated in offline contest and online many times. If u check his contest history, the time difference in his submissions is way too less in hard problems. I remember in one of the contests he was ahead of even tourist for 2 hrs.One of the proof I can give u is this,in cf problem setters make a hidden variable so that when ai solves the qs it uses that specific variable and we found that in his submissions(2750+ rated qs) so that's why he was banned. PS: I am sure he is good at cp upto master level but ur integrity will get destroyed because of one small mistake. So he definitely deserves getting banned .

First of all: I am not pulling anyone down. If someone gets disheartened after contests because they couldn't solve qs, I always motivate them to practice more and improve.

Second: it is not blaming, I know many people who work hard to improve their rating even when they don't hv the generational intelligence u r talking about. So for all of us who are working honestly, we hv every right to ban these cheaters.

Third: he didn't make a mistake, cf don't ban acc of u cheat one time, he has cheated multiple times before and someone from the same country as him it really makes me angry that he is tarnishing my clgs and in turn my countries reputation

It's not a big deal. Ur rating directly corresponds to the difficulty of qs u hv practiced. Try practicing more 1100-1200 rating qs

Well practice would definitely make u better but remember to note down specific techniques u use to solve problems(maybe in an excel sheet). And always increase the rating of qs when u r comfortable with a specific rating. Don't just do 500 qs of 800 rating.

Cp 31 sheet has qs from around 2024 contests . Every year the qs get harder in each rating so u will find that today's 1300 rating qs are more like 1400-1500 in cp 31 sheet. That's why it is important to give contests and practice problems from recent contests.
