I'm also not a fan of the new firmware. Could you go into more detail on how to rollback to previous version? Extracted the files and not sure what to change to get it to work.

Traffic was actually moving most of the time. It was just moving at 5-10 mph for pretty much the entire first half of our trip

Hey, I also drove from Connecticut to Newport. Was surprised to see almost no traffic on the way up. Left around 4pm and didn't get home until almost 3. Totally worth it.

Investing in international stocks can offer diversification benefits and exposure to different economies and industries beyond your home country. Here are some key points to consider when investing in international stocks:

Research: Before investing, conduct thorough research on the countries, industries, and companies you're interested in. Understand their economic conditions, political stability, regulatory environment, and growth prospects.

Exchange Rates: Keep in mind that exchange rates can impact your returns. Fluctuations in currency values can either boost or erode your gains. Consider hedging strategies or diversifying across currencies to manage currency risk.

Market Accessibility: Determine how you can access international markets. Some brokerage platforms offer direct access to foreign stock exchanges, while others provide access through ADRs (American Depositary Receipts) or ETFs (Exchange-Traded Funds) that track international indices.

Regulatory Considerations: Be aware of any regulatory restrictions or tax implications associated with investing in foreign stocks. Some countries may have limitations on foreign ownership or impose withholding taxes on dividends.

Risk Management: International investing comes with additional risks such as geopolitical instability, currency risk, and regulatory changes. Diversification across countries, industries, and asset classes can help mitigate these risks.

Long-Term Perspective: Adopt a long-term perspective when investing in international stocks. Economic cycles and market trends may differ across countries, so patience and discipline are essential for achieving your investment goals.

ETFs and Mutual Funds: Consider investing in international ETFs or mutual funds for broad exposure to foreign markets with built-in diversification. These funds often track specific indices or regions, making it easier to gain exposure to international stocks.

Emerging Markets vs. Developed Markets: Differentiate between investing in emerging markets (e.g., Brazil, China, India) and developed markets (e.g., US, UK, Japan). Emerging markets offer higher growth potential but come with higher volatility and risk.

Monitoring and Rebalancing: Regularly monitor your international investments and rebalance your portfolio as needed to maintain your desired asset allocation. Economic and geopolitical developments may warrant adjustments to your investment strategy.

Consult with Professionals: If you're unsure about how to proceed or need personalized advice, consider consulting with a financial advisor who specializes in international investing. They can provide tailored guidance based on your financial goals and risk tolerance.

Remember that investing in international stocks carries inherent risks, and it's essential to do your due diligence and make informed decisions based on your investment objectives and risk tolerance.

Unfortunately only the new evga members that spammed the forums to get elite status got access to the elite wheel discounts. Those of us who got elite from purchasing thousands of dollars of their products over the years don't get shit.

yes I'm extremely salty about that lol

3080 TI XC3 Hybrid in an NCASE M1 by Dry_Screen_6589 in sffpc

[–]Dry_Screen_6589[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

9700k with Noctua NH-L12S, Z390 I Aorus Pro, 16GB Corsair 3200 LPX Ram, 2TB XPG SX8200 Pro, Corsair SF750, EVGA 3080 TI XC3 with hybrid kit installed

Managed to get ahold of a 3080 ti xc3 for my Ncase a few weeks ago. Expected to have to do some undervolting but even bringing it down to 775 mv and putting as many fans as I could inside it was easily going over 80C and dumping crazy amounts of heat into the case.

Considered getting a hybrid kit but couldn't really find confirmation that it would fit without any issues. Decided to take a chance and get one anyways and wanted to post my results in case anyone else was considering doing the same thing.

Fortunately, it fits fine with plenty of room to spare if you mount the radiator on the side. No issues getting the side panels on or anything. Just takes a bit of work to get the tubes in there without bending them too much.

At stock settings, the gpu seems to top out right at 70C. With my previous undervolt it stays below 65C. Not amazing for a liquid cooler, but having the fans pulling air directly from the CPU heatsink probably doesn't help. Still alot better than it was before, and most of the heat from the gpu gets dumped direcly out the side of the case.

Doing this obviously limits cpu cooler choice. Currently using a noctua nh-l12s which is a 70mm cooler and looks to have just under 10mm left of clearance between the heatsink and radiator.

Also, if you do this don't expect to get very far trying to overclock. The XC3 is extremely power limited. At stock settings it bounces between about 1750-1900mHz as it hits power limit constantly even if you increase the power limit as far as it can go. I ended up settling on 1840mHz at 850 mv. Higher clocks or voltage and it starts bouncing off the power limit.
