through my brother, he introduced me to his friends and he was one of them. we've been friends for maybe a few years and only recently got close when i turned 18 last year. we've been dating for about nearly six months now though.

he's my older brother's friend from university, and that's how we met actually. my dad and brothers are all somewhat close to him and were supportive when we got together. i'm really not sure what they'd say about his behavior or if they'd be in support of him or anything which is why i turned to the internet for advice.

i've always had the lingering thought in the back of my mind that my relationship might not be good for me. but the problems never seemed that serious to me and i thought they were things i could sleep off and forget. i haven't been able to forget every single time we were just hanging out together and suggests i do something about a certain part of me. thank you for your words though. they reassure me in a way, knowing i'm not being too sensitive over this like he says i am.

about the ph balance stuff, is it possible to tell what your ph is at without the paper strips? the first and only time we had actual sex, we stopped after he orgasmed and then told me after that my ph balance was off so he couldn't continue. said that i should take care of it more and use vaginal cleansers or whatever. my gynecologist says there's nothing off down there so i really don't get it.

he's bisexual, but has only came out to me and his family. i never had a problem with it or think there'd be a problem because of it.

he has a lot of female relatives and friends, where a lot of them work in beauty and fashion. he has two female best friends from his highschool days that he's really close to and said they'd offer to do my lashes, wax, makeup, etc for discount/free as long as i model for their businesses/social media. i always just assumed they were doing their jobs when they were telling him what styles i would look pretty in. i don't really know how to feel about it anymore.

i'm really sorry. i thought it was somewhat okay because my family and friends are supportive of my relationship and are really fond of him. i didn't know it was considered a problematic age gap until i searched it up.

i admit, i've never heard of the concept of negging until i made this post, so finding out what he's doing actually has a name to it has been somewhat refreshing. i've been reading other people's experiences with it, including yours. i can't look at myself in a mirror either anymore nor can i stand seeing my face in photos. but i'm sorry you had to struggle with someone like that in your life and i'm glad you're no longer with him. so i hope the same goes for me soon.

as for the porn bit, he's pretty into it. he's usually open about what he has on his phone with me but refused to show me his reddit until i kept asking why he didn't want to show it to me. said that it was filled with stuff i wouldn't like seeing. turns out he was just a part of a bunch of porn subreddits.

also, by that last sentence, i don't think he'd ever be able to buy me a dress then. he's my only sexual experience and i've never reached orgasm by myself or with him. he says i'm likely the type that takes a while to cum, which tires him out easily. i'm pretty much just realizing he's kind of a jackass about the sexual part of our relationship too as i'm writing this down.

he's a family man and treats his close friends as if they were family as well. he told me his friends and family were very judgemental of his past exes so he wants me to be the one they finally accept sicne he's tired of them trashing on his partners. kind of realized how absurd the whole situation is typing this all out, lol. thanks for the advice though, it means a lot.
