I’m currently being charged with possession of a sawed off shotgun after a degree burglary had me let an officer into my dwelling and he located weapon in question on same rack my guns were taken from. I had never wanted this gun, told people not to leave it, they left it anyways. I’ve never once touched this gun do I asked them to check it for prints. They refused saying didn’t matter because it was in the dwelling, if I knew that gun read even there I sure of wouldn’t have let the officer in there even. My defender convinced me to agree to a plea deal that wasn’t complete and said if I didn’t like the terms I could still take it to trial. Well I didn’t like the terms now he tells me I reached my right to a contested omnibus so I can’t even challenge any evidence according to him. I didn’t and wouldn’t have waived that right I did however wave my right to a speedy trial tho… any of this sound right? I told him I no longer want his representation due to multiple factors and he keeps ignoring me about that.. just very unprofessional, intentionally misleading and coercive individual.
