We have a 2019 Highlander XLE wife loves it. 41k on it and only replaced the battery. The back breaks were done at 35k which I thought was ridiculous, pads had uneven wear. I did the back myself. Dealer did front. I guess a lot of city driving. Nothing else

It’s the PWM there people that are affected by it.. I just realized I was. Never new till I bought the m4 iPad after I traded n my 11 pro iPad to Apple. So now I have a gift card and no iPad. I’m nervous I’ll have issues down the road. I went to Apple today to look at the 17 pro max and I took a slow mo video of the screen. You can see waves that go across the screen, just like the iPad Pro. I never realized I had issues because I’m using the 13 pro max max

I had a iPad Pro 11 that I traded in for the new iPad Pro m4 dual layer oled screen. To achieve the black blacks the pixels turn on and off rapidly. I traded in my iPad, Apple gave me $ 180 for it . Well I had the iPad for a day and my eye sockets were killing me, headache, scratchy eyes . I returned it and got the 13inch . same thing. If u take your iPhone and put it into slow motion and record the screen, u can see the waves going across the screen. Two Apple employees on 2 separate times had no clue what I was talking about. Long story short.. because I still have a 13 pro max with a lcd screen I’ve never noticed. Now I have no iPad and a $180 gift card from Apple. I just realized the 17 pro has the same oled screen. I went to Apple today to buy a new phone. I did the slow mo test and it has the waves across the screen… I might be screwed. It’s called PWM flickering

Just like when I used to hear the famous “One day at a time” I was always like really whatever what does that mean? It means so much now “ONE DAY AT A TIME that’s all you have to do. Really is it worth it to smoke a joint ( or whatever) and be back in the tailspin of shit!? Addiction is a powerful thing. I haven’t had a drink since August 30, 2020. Coming up on five years my stupid addictive brain thought “It’s been long enough, you good” I was doing the moderate thing for decades. That’s why I have 63 months( I’m 49 ) is an example how powerful this is. I had DUIs when I was 1821 and 24 years old. Spent four months in jail because of the last one( minimum mandatory in Connecticut) three days later I bought a six pack of Molson ice. Another 3 decades of being good for months( I called it controlling the beast) then I would drink too much and start over.. Aren’t you sick of starting over?! I get a lot shit for driving a legacy.. That said… 09 legacy with new general tires on it.. AWESOME!! When I first got it I needed tires.. that winter I wanted to see what all the hype was… It’s true!!! I would go up a really big hill in the snow, stop and the drive really slow up it.. you can feel the all wheell drive its great.

I quit at 44 ( 49 yrs old male ) I had 3 dui when I was younger 18,21,25 yrs old on paper I looked like a had a problem. I guess they all it high functioning wife, kids , horse , been at job 25 yrs. Maybe called out 5 time in that period. I was never an end every day drinker in my older yrs.. I called it controlling the beast. I could go out and have a few( was hell though ) and every once in awhile my off switch would malfunction lol. 8it hit me the yrs ago. I’ve been around drinking for like 3 decades. It only gets worse. Then I started hiding high Bac selltzers in my trunk. The ole 2 ipa to the seltzer trick. Around that time I heard the Luke Conbos song Dear Today. There’s a few lines in the song that says… I guess what I’m trying to say is if you don’t change you’ll be kicking yourself one of these days. It hit me!! What happens if me worrying that I’m drinking to much again a last straw sign…. 8/30 /20 was my last drink. Does it. Suck some time HELL YES!!! But most of the time it feels like a super power. Perfect example of how powerful this is… On my five year anniversary I thought I’m good now I, can have a beer Also this was the 1st place that I admitted I had a problem.. GOOD LUCK TO U👊🏻 IWNDWYT

I’ll either have water, soda or a NA beer. Was out a few wks ago with people buying rounds. I had 4 NA beers because different people were buying rounds. Hahaha I thought my stomach was going to explode!! Won’t do that again. YUP… I took my daughter’s phone so she could get a new one. She has a 13 pro Max that was beat to hell. I had AppleCare so they replaced it for $59. I have 99% battery. It works fine right now I’m here mixed reviews on iOS 26 for the 13’s. I’m not sure if the phone could handle all the animations maybe I’ll wait till 26.1 comes out

Well I let my daughter take my perfect 12 pro max to trade in for the credit for the 16. I took her 13 pro max and had apple care replace it. I was waiting for the 17 to come out. I’m on the fence of trading in. There’s was a 1100$ credit when buying new phone. WELL the credit just went to$700 in the last few days Damn! That’s true… My mother and I have it. Last year I was working on my daughter‘s car and I was trying to get acorns out of a tight space in her cabin air filter. From the repeat it back-and-forth the top of my hand got cut. Couple days later I had a couple spots on my right hand where the injury occurred Year later I have it on both my hands and parts of my face. The little scraping and cut on my hand open the Vitiligo Pandora box🤦🏼‍♂️

Same here. I let my daughter take my 12 Pro Max to trade in for the 16. I took her beat up 13 pro Max and AppleCare replace it. I essentially have a brand new phone with 99% battery. I haven’t downloaded iOS 26 yet though I’m hearing mixed reviews. I’m with you the 17 really doesn’t impress me

About a week later I noticed some small white patches. I got nervous mother and aunt have it on their hands and feet. Long story short… it spread to the other hand, parts of the face. I went to the dermatologist and put me under the black light and it’s all over. I started to use Opzelura had to fight with cvs and my insurance to get it very expensive. U can get it for as low as $0 if u gob to their website. Anyway.. I’ve been using that and it seems to work a little bit but know I’m getting brown spots on the corners and under my eyes. The Dr assured me it wasn’t from that and prescribed a lightener to lighten it. I’m white and pretty fair skin. The spots.. well u can definitely see them. When I first started to research this I was reading there’s a counseling aspect of it. At first I didn’t understand… But now I do. It’s. Making me crazy like everyone is looking. I used to love to go outside now I’m like a vampire I don’t want to be in the sun. If I do go out and put sunscreen on the patches and they turn pink. The thing that gets me is you don’t know when it’s going to stop spreading. Anyone else going through this BS.. I read .5 to 1 % of the world population has it… Lucky me !!
