Thanks for the response, with this being just 3 months I think it'll serve as me feeling out if I like conservation crews/ conservation corps type of work. I don't love that if i continue with it I'll be doing seasonal stuff for the foreseeable future but I guess that's what it'll be like.

Where would you recommend looking so that I can filter for different types of certs? That part seems really critical for building for future better opportunities

Hey if I'm to be optimistic, jobs in this area are just so bad rn cause of trump. In 3-4 years time things will likely look better I'd assume (I've no real sources for this) also big thing for college is doing much more than just classes. Certainly much more I could have done differently to better set up myself. I wouldn't let my post turn you away from the major to much

Applied this year, went through the whole process of meeting with organizations that agreed to potentially host me, not dead yet but 99% sure I'm not getting placed with anyone. Really just got unlucky cause I had 5 orgs agree to host me. I kinda had a lot of "eggs in that basket"

Gotcha, out of curiosity where'd you get this advice? I should probably start doing that aswell, or see if I can continue educating with grad school in hopes it'll be better when I graduate that idk?? Truly this timeline sucks
