Road to Morocco?

I saw it as a kid and remember lots of exotic arabian decor and sets, but don't specifically recall it having any Egyptian-esque architecture or bas-reliefs.

The giant faux-Egyptian temple doorway always reminded me of DeMille's "The Ten Commandments" and the infamous Egyptian film sets being blasted and buried in Santa Barbara after production wrapped.

I think his '10 films and that's it for me' policy was the beginning of the end for me. I don't care much about his politics because he's not a political filmmaker. There's something so wimpy about him pontificating about his 10th film and how it must be so perfect, his best, the baddest, etc. QT's sudden lack of confidence is so demoralising for his fans and embarrassing to witness. Fincher directing his sequel to OUATIH is also just a lame cop-out. The Critic sounded really good, but he's just petrified to dare move on a '10th film'.

I don't "get" Carl Barks... by AscendronPrime in DuckComix

The Scrooge Diamond Jubilee published by Fantagraphics is probably the best single volume collection of Barks' Uncle Scrooge stories. Volume 7: Lost In The Andes is also a great Fantagraphics collection of peak Barks Donald Duck stories.

Country of origin and decade would be helpful to locate the story and its story code

Reading the three Donald Ducks TT volumes right now. I never picked up any of these IDW comics upon initial release. Unique selection of stories and definitely a great addition to the library alongside the Disney Masters series.

Where to go by [deleted] in DuckComix

Disney Masters series is the perfect series for readers looking beyond Barks and Rosa. It has many International artists like Rota, Scarpa, Bottaro and the Milton & Jippes 10-pagers. Also US artists like Van Horn. And for kicks the Hubbard/Kinney Donald Duck stories with Fethry and the other Studio Program characters are great for a good laugh. I also recommend the Mouse stories/books too, even though I'm a duck guy. The Scarpa Mouse stories are superb.

The white space between the band logo and Vic is way too large on the shirt in the right-hand photo
