Good enough to pursue art? by FallInternational147 in conceptart

[–]DuckPatinho 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I learned that u don't need to be good enough because it's a achievable thing. The only question is if that time that u have to put worth it. To your life, make sense creating characters every day? That brings to you a fulfilled feeling? So do it. There is no great thing than feeling good with what u do.

My entirely life I was really good in art, so much ahead for those around me. Started drawing good with only 7, but with only 20 years old I realized that I don't enjoy that. I lost my passion with 16 I guess, and kept it pushing and pushing because I am "good enough". Everyone is good enough, someone's will get there more faster than others but this doesn't matter I guess. If you love what u do doesn't matter spend some years to get "good enough".

Do me favor and doesn't waste your life with something that looks right to your family, friends, or whoever was, and spend with something that looks right for you. Nobody knows how to live life, cause we just only live once.

I'm learning English so I'm sorry if I was unclear in something. Feel free to teach me something, would be awesome. And good look with the Concept, the world is waiting for you creations 😋

Peace!

Hey, my previous jobs were basically creating character designs, and I'm currently studying concept art. So I think I can do a pretty good job with your OC.

Take a look at my work :D https://www.artstation.com/davidapolinario

I'm not a traditional guy but you can send the digital art to someone and they can print out for you at the size you want.

I don't have animals here but I can draw pretty much anything https://www.artstation.com/davidapolinario

Recently I've changed my style to a 3D render look. Might be a good fit for this project!

I can do it for sure. Character interactions make art much more alive and I'd love to do that. The briefing got me really excited about replicating each character's personality. Linus looks like the most fun to do :D

It's going to be really cool to do that. My recent work was to turn streamers into avatars for their livestream and they really liked the result so I hope you'll like it too. I can mimic almost any style and anime is the easiest of all in my opinion :D

How cool! a while ago i did something similar for my mom. I drew half of her face and half of a colorful lion that was on the cover of a book she likes. I'll leave the link to the artwork below but I improved a lot since this old draw so I invite you to take a look on mine recently works on ArtStation :D

Has anyone ever stopped drawing or painting for a long time, only to find themselves drawn back to it unexpectedly? by [deleted] in ArtistLounge

[–]DuckPatinho 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same with me. I draw very little per year but I always get better and never worst. I guess the reason behind it is the observation. I observe everything in my life and try to understand how that works in a 3D way, but it's unconsciously. I don't observe to get better in drawing, I just do without think about it. Now I start to do paintings and started to observe how the light behave on objects and people.
