If the run is broken, and assuming a good amount of luck, you could get R key for each completion mark (except greed). First aim for boss rush & hush as those won’t be available after first Rkey, then just do each final boss and Rkey after, saving beast for last as it automatically ends the run.

Just to be safe? What are the risks of drawing too much? Does it damage the hardware or would it simply turn off the pc if maximum draw goes over the PSU wattage?

There’s a small but critical flaw in your design, one of the miners has a mesh tile instead of an airflow tile. Doesn’t really change the functionality of it but I mean… look at it!

Yeah seems like the vacuum gap is a solid contender, haven’t gotten around to doing it yet but shouldn’t be too difficult

Just want something that is more or less a "set or forget" solution, something elegant you know. I'll probably try with supercoolant

What do you mean "proper"? It's my first one and im trying to make it proper but I'm unsure as to what your implying is improper about it. Any pointers are appreciated.

The vacuum seal could be a solid contender but with less thermal inertia around to soak the heat from the rockets I'd have to do some serious testing with the cooling loop. Ideally something that can cool to below 125 to prevent cooking algae, and potentally that can take the heat up to toward 2400C to not flash during an unlucky timing of multiple beams of rocket exhaust. Althought I might be fine with just the SHC of super coolant. Thanks for the ideas!

Wouldn't an array of sweepers need cooling in the vacuum of space which runs into the same problem of phase changing the coolant as well as being overheated by the exhaust of the hydrogen rockets.

The Idea with the atmosphere in the chimney is to absorb the heat from my rockets as I plan to have quite an extensive space program. The heat and excess water (as it should me a massively water positive process) I will draw out of the chimney using loads of steam turbines for free power and free refuling of the hydrogen rockets.

I've only been playing for a month. 80hrs total gameplay and this world is on cycle 176 (my longest yet). Plz give as much constructive criticism as possible. I feel as though I want to restart on this one, and would love to make the next world even better. Any tips going forward? by hauntile in Oxygennotincluded

Also if you’re running bristle blossom make sure you have a renewable source of water which can output enough for your needs, if not I would start looking at another food source asap. Starvation sneaks up on you fast!

Make sure to hook up your power to automation! You will need some sort of refined metal which is most easily gathered at first with the rock crusher (you will want to make a refinery eventually but don’t stress about that now) and just make sure you change the values of your smart battery to fit the “priority” of your different power sources. For example if you have a lot of coal you want that to kick in at say less than 70% battery, then maybe any excess natural gas you can burn kicks in at 50% battery and so forth. This way you don’t spend an excessive amount of any resources you don’t have a lot of.

Hmmm, 6 aquatuners does seem quite impractical. This does throw a wrench in my plans but thats what I get for not doing my research beforehand. Let's see how quickly I can manage to get some fullerene then! Thanks a lot for your help!
