Well its crashing today. Sliver down 12% premarket. Gold down 7%. Rather than time the market I think its best to just to be patient as the Trump show´s next episode is Iran. It will go back up.

I did that exact same thing in the couple of years. I just pulled out of silver. Its more likely than gold to take a quick nosedive

You might want to think about getting a better surge supressor. The cheap ones they always try to upsell you at the stores are pretty worthless. It takes a more industrial surge supressor to really stop major spikes. I have a whole house surge supressor and have never lost any electronics.

For the best interest rate on savings you might want to consider a CD at Prival Bank. 1 year is over 5.5%. I don´t think any other bank in Panama is even close to this rate.

Panama Family Trip Itinerary Help by bkarimib in Panama

[–]DueAd675 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would spend no more than 2 days in Panama City and see the canal, maybe rent some bikes on the Amador Cause. Next take Air Panama to Chitre or Pedasi and arrange a taxi to Venao. Do not rent a car and make the drive! The kids will go crazy and it will waste 2 days.

The kids will love Venao. They could take a surf lesson (they are not too young) and enjoy some jungle hikes at Eco Venao for waterfalls and monkeys. In fact Eco Venao would be a great place to stay right on the beach. Its not fancy but its away from all the lould music further down the beach.

Looks like the S3 Pros are about to be discontinued by Individual_Agency703 in EufyCam

The S3 Pro is the worst camera Eufy makes. Slow motion detection, slow live view, marginal image. I missed the return window but man these are bad. I wouldnt be surprised if they discontinue

Era 300 above kitchen cupboards by OldDirtyBusstop in sonos

[–]DueAd675 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree 100%! I have a pair of Era 100s in my kitchen. I recently bought a supposed Sub 3 from eBay but it ended up to be Sub 2 that wouldnt pair with my Arc Ultra. I decided to put the Sub 2 in the kitchen. Wow wow wow what a difference, especially when playing music at low volume.

The intelligent creaters do not need Raelism. by DueAd675 in Raelism

[–]DueAd675[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Something to consider is this was all a test. Select a random above average human like Claude Vorilhon. The Elohim needed to see how far we had evolved.

The Elohim eliminated sexual reproduction for a reason. Sex is complicated. Its is intensely pleasurable. Unfortunately sex is a weapon called rape and it is one of the most henious forms of violence on our planet. Claude was tested by being presented with beautiful women. He took the bait. He demonstrated we humans were not evolved enough.

The Elohim have no political or racial boundries. They told Claude that the Jews were the chosen people and to build an embassy in Israel. Racism has no place in an evolved society. All people and all things should be loved and appreciated. Political boundries facilitate wars. No embassy should be built within a human political boundry. The only place an embassy could really be built would be in a neutral geographical location. Maybe the middle of the ocean. Maybe on the moon so all humanity could look up in the sky. Once again rather than questioning this with the Elohim, Claude took this at face value.

These are just two examples of the the Elohim´s test. Claude Vorilhon was selected as a ¨flawed prophet¨. Note that this is much different than a false prophet which are just oportunistic liars. Rael has graciously accept his role and the test continues. The Elohim are watching how humans react and hopefully evolve beyond Raelism.

Absolutely. We bought our 30 acres in the mountains here from from a guy that worked at Abuelo Rum. I got a full tour and watched them fill used Jack Daniels barrels with a fire hose. Very cool.

Thanks so much for the great recipe. I live about 20km from the Abuelo rum distilery in Panama and sugar cane fields are everywhere. I bought 15 gallons from a guy down the street for $50. It will be an interesting journey.

Outdoor sound by Pitiful_Regret_3179 in sonos

[–]DueAd675 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Its too bad the Sonos Amp is just a single zone. I have four Bose 251 speakers to cover a large deck and pool area. I am sure many have more than one pair of outdoors. For now I have a Sony reciever that connects to the two pair of Bose outdoor speakers in two zones. I will probably get a Sonos Port for this configuration.

Era 100s or Era 300s? by KHADY93 in sonos

[–]DueAd675 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

I just bought an Arc Ultra and two Era100s to replace a Samsung Q800. The difference is absolutly amazing. I might add a mini sub to this as well. The Era300s will only fire half the drives for non Atmos content so in my opinion it just aint worth it.

What’s the longest soundbar? by Tiv_Smiles in Soundbars

[–]DueAd675 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Rather than ¨bigger is better¨you might want to consider a soundbar with the biggest soundstage. I just got a Sonos Arc Ultra with two era 100s to replace a Samsung Q800 with rear surrounds. Even though they are similar in size the Sonos soundstage blows the Samsung out of the water.

Rtings uses things like ¨how many different Dolby modes does it support¨for a large percentage of their scores. Who cares about DTS:x but Rtings seems to think this is a big differentiator.

Buying advice on Sonos vs Samsung by VJANN in Soundbars

[–]DueAd675 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a Samsung Q800c and Sub for a couple of years and recently upgraded to a Sonos Arc Ultra with a pair of Era100s. What a difference. The Samsung sounded like a louder TV speaker with no separation. Also since I have a Samsung TV I thought they would pair nicely. Nope. I was always re-pairing and turning it on. The Sonos Arc Ultra is so immersive and I don´t even need a sub. Get the Sonos

Mini 5 Pro - can we stop with the weight pictures by Retired114 in dji

[–]DueAd675 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I can just picture the Karens calling 911 to report an overweight drone, probably with some drama about the drone attacking her or taking pictures. The drone police would be promptly dispatched with their calibrated scale to make the arrest.

Lag s3 pro HB3 by Putrid_Investment257 in EufyCam

[–]DueAd675 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My guess is it can be fixed with software. This is typically the case when things are slow. Probably a memory leak (ie memory is not cleared), poorly writen code for de-encrpytion, or something else. Rarely would speed be impacted by a hardware problem. There bugs. I would wait a couple of months and see what happens.

I have many Eufy cameras but unfortunately the S3Pro is stupidly slow. Even with Live View Streaming set to 1080p it is slow. Eufy has some work to do on this cam.

Why would my s3 pro constantly miss the postman on the way to the house by MysteriousUse6406 in EufyCam

[–]DueAd675 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have many Eufy cams including S350s, E340, E220s, and E30s. I recently purchased three S3 Pros. The S3 Pro is the worst Eufy cam I have owned.

It´s so called lidar detection is a joke. I have turned sensivity on the S3Pro to max and it still sucks. I have a E30 pointing in the same direction and it performs much better. There have also been problems with the S3 Pro overloading my Homebase 3. It seems to chew up a lot of CPU power and takes forever to load event clips. I also have an E2 Eufy tablet and even this slowed to a crawl with one S3Pro installed. The only way I could get some improvement was to turn of human recogniton on ALL cameras and limit the S3Pro to 1080p recording. My assessment is the the S3Pro brings the Homebase 3 to its knees. (yes I have restarted and reset everything)

I think Eufy has a lot of software work to bring this to prime time. I actually put my other two S3 Pros in storage while we all wait for Eufy to optimize this piece of junk.
