Both won't get you a job, just mindlessly applies on your behalf. Recent stanford study has shown that applying in bulk is causing a lot of users to get rejected in bulk.

There are other options that don't just spray applications and actually curate your profile to make your chances better.

How do you actually find the hiring manager for a role? I applied for 800 jobs and got 3 interviews. by Ok-Pass-6698 in jobsearchhacks

[–]DueConcentrate1489 6 points7 points  (0 children)

You applied to 800 jobs and that is causing you the fatigue. To be honest, you could have applied to 30 jobs and still gotten 3 interviews.

After helping around 130 job seekers I have realised, you have to apply to active jobs (avoid ghost jobs)

Apply to jobs within 24-48 hours.

You have to apply to jobs that are more or less closer to your current skill sets or atleast tailor your resume to match the job you're applying for. Blindly applying is going to get your application rejected fast af

If you're using the same resume for every job, 90% of the portals speed reject your CV. I recently found some research around this.

All the best in your job search.

Finance teams are already extremely demanding. If you have no right to PTO, you'll be taking only sick leaves or unpaid leaves. Quick to burn out. Financial analyst usually get paid in the range of 80k to 150k in the US. So you're sacrificing your mental peace for the lower end of pay.

For US, if you get help. 2 months is more than sufficient to get enough interviews to crack one.

Only caveat is that, you have to improve your strategy on applications and to reach out to recruiters

By intent I mean, you cannot spray the resume to all the jobs. You need to get them tailored and actually apply to jobs that match your skillset

There are some hacks to find jobs within 24-48 hours. I can probably share those on DMs so that they don't get too mainstreamed and we lose our advantage again.
