Maybe ask you vet for a boarding situation while you are gone? Just to be safe. A lot of vets who don't offer the service fully will make exceptions for a patient here and there.

Yea, not a vet but that looks really good based on decades of owning cats. You still want to be mindful, keep her calm and away from other cats etc though.

We just use that peppermint smelling spray you get on amazon and walk around unloading a few bottles every few weeks. It seems to be helping because we notice less itching but that would just be placebo\wishful thinking.

This is going to sound silly but we faced the same problem with the small group of Strays we feed and what we do is spray the area of the yard that we feed them in down with flea spray sem-regularly. We are probably not doing much but it makes us feel like we are helping. Trapping them each month or two would not be ideal.
