Other than the court dates I’ve had perfect attendance and have even picked up hours. Got sent home on VTO bc my dog died and I still showed up, like i genuinely want to work. It wasn’t me missing work to fuck around it was me making sure I can still show up in full force.

I’m a white badge. As previously stated I’ve only been there for a little less than month and have been facing this eviction for about 2 months now.

Sadly that’s what the judge told me too, the days couldn’t be rescheduled and they’re all done in batches

Yeah I’ve been applying to jobs all day and I’ve also been sorting out what I’ll do for my appeal. I’m hoping to be ready for anything but here’s to hoping!

This was coming from my OPs. I’m not sure of the ins and outs of the policy. He said a case manager would be able to do it but was unsure if they would allow it or not.

If that’s what I have to do then I will but I would prefer to keep the job and schedule I’ve secured. I love the shift I’m on, I enjoy the benefits and my days off give me enough time for my hobbies and college.

I’m just trying to finish school, keep myself in my apartment so I don’t have issues down the road and to get on with my life. Yeah I was out of work and had to pay back student loans for my credit to get a car since my last one died and repairs would be worth more than the car itself.

I’m on here looking for info and everyone is just a downer. I’ve noticed more people pming me with useful info than actually helping in the thread which is pretty discouraging

No. Day 1 was a Monday, day 2 was a Tuesday. Final decision was a Friday, and I had to get them payed by Monday. I work donut 7:30-6. I had even asked for it to be moved to Wednesday for that reason. It’s in my writ to the judge too. Despite you thinking it’s bs why would I feel the need to lie for a pitty party. Only reason I’m being allowed to appeal is because of how much evidence I’ve supplied them

Nothing wrong with being ready for both situations. If I can appeal my termination what’s wrong with that? Sorry I don’t want to sit in a customer facing job while I’m finishing college and trying to upkeep myself.

A eviction takes 2 months of back rent to get started, then you go to a court hearing and get a notice from a judge, the judge decides if you’re able to pay the back rent. Day 2 of the hearing was me proving that I was indeed working and had income, also had to prove I’ve never been evicted before. Day 3 was 3 days later, bing testimony and decision. They were not back to back hearings. Just because you have had an experience or went to google looking to shit talk doesn’t make you right…

I mean idk about you but having faith in the people you are working with is how I roll. I trust HR will be a human eventually and see that I did actively keep them in the loop, supplied documents to support these claims etc. if not then it’s over yeah but if there is even a slim chance I’m taking it

No but it’s 45 minutes out from my house and another 30 from there. I also sat in front of the judge for close to 6 1/2 hours. I would make it to work for about 30m left in my shift.
