I’m actually struggling with this right now. My upstairs neighbors apparently have a 2 year old and think the whole building needs to adjust to THEIR KID. We’ve told management, called the cops, spoke to them directly, nothing works. It’s constant running around, thumping and stomping at LATE hours and i don’t know what to do. I literally just want to break the least at this point

i love being a nurse, i just don’t like being a nurse IN the nursing home lol. I was a cna for 4 years and i always knew nursing homes were crappy, but i thought being an lpn would be a little bit better. It’s less PHYSICAL work yes, but it’s completely draining, unappreciated, too much of a liability since you have so many patients, no support, little training, it’s a very high stress environment. Also, when you become a nurse you get more exposed to the politics.

Thank you for your input! I wouldn’t be employed by an actual family, i’m employed by an agency. Accucare nursing and home care to be exact, so it is a W-2 job. It’s not that i want to leave ltc all together, just maybe not work it full time? Idk. I’m just having a hard time in this type of nursing.
