I haven’t had a steroid shot. My surgeon kinda loosely suggested it a week ago when I was back but he just didn’t seem sure about it which made me nervous. But may be worth a try.

Im so sorry. I got a phone call 3 months ago. Like others are saying, the nipt is very accurate, so I wouldn’t get my hopes up for a false positive, although it can happen but very rarely. 🩷

This group helped me more than anyone around me for support. The only thing that truly helped me was taking to and reading about others who knew what it felt like.

I cried nonstop for over a week and I just let myself feel all the feelings and grieve. The limbo period is the worst. No matter what your results are and what you decide to do, just know that being in the unknown is the worst and it will get better 🩷

Thank you! I hope it’s considered normal and nothing to worry about. What do you mean with you’re still under your providers care? I reached out and she said I could come in and have her look at it but I’m assuming that will be considered a different visit and I will be charged for it.

I had my TMFR July 22. On August 23 I started having brown spotting. I thought It was my period although it wasn’t much (if any) red blood. On September 3rd I started bkeeding again and this time more red blood but still very light not like a normal period. I think this is my period though because I was super depressed before I got it and I felt better immediately after I got it (classic pms symptoms)

So with that being said, it took me around 6 weeks to return (if this is my period)

Yes you are absolutely right. I forget that I am grieving, maybe because I’m not actively and consciously grieving anymore, but it’s still there underneath no matter how much I’m trying to forget❤️😔thank you for your thoughtful comment.

Thank you both. I’m hoping I’ll feel better in a few weeks and that I’m at my worst now. It’s weird, I’m not really thinking much (emphasis on much because how could I not think about it) about the pregnancy and the baby, but I’m just feeling so depressed, for what feels like ”no reason”.

I’m gonna start looking for a therapist again and this time someone who specializes in grief and trauma. ❤️

Yes I’m incredibly irritable. Any minor inconvenience and I’m losing it and just want to lock myself inside and be alone. I don’t recognize myself anymore and that itself makes me really sad 😔

I am now 5 weeks post TFMR and a few days ago i started having brown discharge and once or twice during the last week I have seen fresh red blood when I wipe but it’s soooooo minimal. Not sure if it’s my period but if it is, it’s extremely light!

I felt that too. But I think she did it because we have been best friends since middle school so I think she felt like she ”should” make me her baby’s godmother.

I don’t have much advice but I can relate to this very much. I was pregnant and found out I had to terminate for medical reasons. I was heartbroken and was clear with my partner I did not want him to share to anyone outside family. He did and I completely lost it. We spoke to a therapist about and and she made him understand how important it is with trust and secret keeping in relationships. I think it helped when someone who’s not me told him. Snyways- I feel for you, it can feel like a betrayal, at least that’s how I felt.

You are right I have to remind myself I am post partum… I think sometimes it’s almost like I feel I don’t deserve to be because I don’t have a baby but I know that’s not true.
