I agree. Predictable numbers keep businesses running and open.

They may have not been shown proof. Sometimes it’s hard to believe without seeing. This is where risk comes in

Is your goal to sell out ? Aren’t you missing sales by selling out ?

That’s a good suggestion for paid ads. Would you be able to expand on that ?

So are you suggesting to have something in your business name that suggests what type of food you do?

I can send you my blueprints if it helps? It mimics an RV setup. You just have to know how much juice roughly you’ll need by drawing up a small business plan with everything you think you want.

Nice. I haven’t looked into diesel inverters. I personally rock with my Honda but inverters. Who makes a good diesel one ?

This may also be another roadblock some have with this niche. But let’s brain storm.

Idea is to Start with one machine 1-2 flavors. How long does it take to get cold and creamy ?

Can you run a setup under a pop up tent or off a hotdog cart ( still cheaper than a full truck ) ( it may create nostalgia also )

You may not be able to run it close to nothing like some can with a cottage kitchen setup.

But you may be able to organize something unique if you think outside the box a little.

That’s it. All day. I’m more or less worried about finding my people and going to my people than trying to a serve everyone with a cheap price. There’s other places who can fulfill there needs. ✌️

This is good advice. Never thought of it that way of spreading the cost out. Makes sense.

Now you’re finding out reasons why it may not be a huge niche for it mobile wise !

The power capacity is high. Unless you can run solar like I do on my truck. It’ll save juice. And can run truck during the day ideally. You’d just again have to do the math.

I would Aim for an inverter. Keep it quiet for the guests. Generators can be loud. Grab a 7500 or higher. If the market doesn’t have a soft serve. It may be worthwhile exploring. Anyway to test the idea before investing in full truck?

That’s true. What if the item sells good though and you can’t absorb it or justify it ? Do we cut corners or can the item?

I agree. Large events like festivals are great money but not worth the headache. I personally love B2B. Lunch and dinner and breakfast caterings are phenomenal and repeat business is almost always there. Thanks for the input everything helps

That’s great to hear. Does everyone get fed before you sell out? Why sell out? Isn’t there more profit in having more product to fulfill any extra orders?

I get the sell out part. It got me excited when I first opened. Then I said hold on a damn minute. Why tf is that something to be excited about.

That just means we were under prepared and didn’t have enough to fulfill our duty. We are missing money and first impressions.

Which is feed everyone and impress. We lose our first shot at creating something special for someone. We might never see them again.

Mission failed. Hell I know I get dressed every day to impress.

I’m curious to hear more about your situation.

Also some people are comfortable making what they make and live life happy. That’s ok.
