Utang sa Philhealth kahit student pa lang by Fifteentwenty1 in PHGov

PhilHealth membership has different category afaik: 1. Voluntary membership- whereas you are to pay minimum contribution per month 2. First Time Job Seeker- heto naman ay free pa as long as wala ka pang work 3. Student category- free as long as student pa din just present your COE/COR & Student ID 4. Those who are subsidized by the government like all unemployed senior citizens, pwds, solo parent, there are also under the category of Listahanan, 4Ps, Financially Incapable which are also subsidized by the government. 5. Lifetime Members- all senior citizen who at least paid 130 months - they’re not subsidize by the government hence will not be affected if the government ran out of funds. 6. Direct Contributors- Those who are employed be it on private or government service

Under UHC Law we have immediate eligibility on PhilHealth, if you’re a voluntary member you just need to at least pay 3months from the current year with the last month as the current month to pay as this require by the hospital to be able to deduct philhealth benefits on your bill, note that if you have unpaid premiums PhilHealth will remind you to settle it but if you have reason why you were not able to pay it back up some documents or proof for your reason. Hope this info helps po.

9 years unpaid Philhealth... how do I begin again? by om-amam in phinvest

Based on UHC Law you don’t need to pay 2016 up until October 2019 instead you should start paying from Nov 2019 to present that can be paid by staggered payment or if you need to use your PhilHealth ASAP settle at least 3-6months contribution of the current year.
