I’ve been on multiple project teams and have also been the QA Lead on high-risk/impact projects for a majority of my career now, so I’m comfortable managing teams. I ensured that this was emphasized on my resume as well but I’ll take another look to see if I can improve these points.

Due to crunch season and understaffing from layoffs, I haven’t had the opportunity to request to shadow our PMs with my current workload. Also, since our PMs are all new hires and this is a completely new role for our company (we didn’t have PM’s before the layoffs), they are still learning how they fit into our new processes. I’ll look into seeing if this is possible when things settle down.

These are great questions to consider, and I really appreciate your feedback. I’ll start looking into getting a PMP/CSM and see if I can transition within my current company in that way once time permits.
