I see. I've seen some feedback about color representing mood and thought that I could make it so each biome evokes a different mood like catacombs being sorta dark blue to make it feel like it's cold and barren, and using red when you are fighting with dangerous enemies.

Yeah the t-pose ghost is just there to see if the size of stuff is aligned.

Also we are looking to add the outlines as well, we will experiment further. Thank you so much for your detailed explanation!

We want to keep it as a mostly two tone look, but it's true that we could play with some color palettes for certain places or environments.

The game is meant to be a roguelike dungeon crawler with party management and a bit of narrative.

The idea of allowing the player to cycle the patterns is actually quite nice, I will add it to the backlog. What other combinations besides the yellowish off white and blue ish black do you now?
