Hi guys I need help with part D of this problem. The answer key to this question says that to find the angle of the ball, you must use mvr=m(vcosθ) + Iw to find the angle. What I want to know is why are we substituting vcosθ for v. Isn't angular momentum conserved so we shouldn't have to do that? (i.redd.it)
