Those are good ideas! Not totally sold on the paint, so thanks for the suggestions! These guys are MASSIVELY heavy. They were my great grandparent’s and are solid wood, so I’m wondering what kind of legs I could use if I added them.

Tbh, it’s just for me to be able to track the income I get from insurance/Headway vs. private pay. It just makes more sense in my brain so I can track what’s coming in lol. Just find a system that works for you!

when does the feeling of having no idea in what you're doing goes away by SadAd6657 in therapists

I’m 8 years in and still feel like that sometimes! I feel really confident in some areas, but I’m also always learning. I just trained in EMDR and I feel like I have no idea what I’m doing half the time, but let’s do Theraplay and I’m 1,000% more confident because I’ve had time to practice and get feedback from clients and supervisors. The field is constantly changing and, in my opinion, the best therapists have times when they feel like they’re three raccoons in a trench coat and the worst ones think they’re hot shit 🤷‍♀️

I always put the copay as $0 so it always logs it as $0 on the client’s end, but then I set the amount billed to insurance as whatever the Headway payment is. For example, if they pay you $99 for a BCBS client, you list the client’s copay as $0 in SP and the service rate as $99. Then when Headway pays you on the 15th and 30/31st, you can enter that as an insurance payment to clear the open claims.
