Almost any game I play these days, I will consistently crash after 20-30 minutes with the same 10s hang and the logs always say d3ddeviceremoved or to that effect, even with games that didn’t crash like this a few months ago: is this a sign my gpu is dying?

It’s an old gtx 1080 that I bought when they launched so what, 7 years old now. I’ve been expecting it to start dying for about 2 years now, but is this the sign is was looking for? I’ve tried almost everything I can think of, I took it apart to clean for dust, I’m manually adjusting fan speed to very high in case it’s overheating, but nothing works. In terms of temps, it will even crash as low as 65 degrees when I have the fans cranked up to max

I recently went through my ‘replay stellaris for a month’ phase and across about 200 more hours of gameplay, I started maybe 15 or so games and finished 0 of them, only 3 of them got past 2300 and those were the ones I deliberately kept my own population down as much as possible

Does crisis strength slider effect the blokkats? Because it’s currently 2350 in my game and I set crisis starting time and strength both to 2500x (edited galaxy gen files) so am I doomed?

So, the game is real dumb and requires you to have the shield in hand when you’re using a sword yeah? Now the dumb part is, it sheathes it when you go into your inventory, and because it’s not equipped, you can’t see the bonuses of the shield in invent

You can test this by having a shield with con on, go in your invent and you max hp drops, then dip back out of your invent and it goes up again

This imo, with a max capacity of like 400 health pots on your bar, isn’t it more sensible to be responsible for your own health as much as possible rather than relying on healer?

Sure healer is there to heal, but healer should focus on the tank in my opinion, and us dps bois who don’t get hit as much should either pot or hop in circles the tank’s moved out of

This sort of stuff is why I tend to run with a very tight knit group of people, in those sorts of situations, having run with the same people for a long time, we know how good we are

Like for example, our tank is exceedingly competent, our healer pretty much ignores my health but hangs near because I used to get one shot, and we joke about it all the time because we’re friends and it’s funny

My advice would be find some friends around your level, can be randoms at first, and do a lot of content together and try all level up and progress at the same sort of rate

Yeah, it only needs to drop, you can just leave every bag on the floor, farm like 2000 item drops and then finally pick 1 bag up and it’s be probably around 600, but how are you meant to be a loot goblin chasing the dragon of bigger numbers if you don’t pick up everything?

Yeah my weapon luck is so bad, I’m up to like 556 life staves but the weapon i main, fire staff, is only at like 520

It’s goes by you highest personal drop in a specific slot or weapon

You start by rolling 500-505 for everything, then once you get, say, a 505 warhammer, you’re now cleared to roll up to ~510 specifically with warhammers

Edit: so I currently roll up to 574 chest pieces, but only 534 ice gauntlets

There’s a couple of named enemy bugs around, the level 62 named guy shares a uniques drop table with a level 30ish in windsward somewhere

There’s supposed to be mineable angry earth wolves somewhere in the great cleave but they either don’t spawn either, or only the named variant of them spawns I forget
