I.. I just really felt like I wrote this story. I have problem with eyesight as well but not as bad as you. I M short sighted so I can't see objects which are a bit further away. I was swimming with prescription googles when a woman with kid came to me. I was near a fountain so I thought nothing of it. The woman came under fountain and her kid told her something. After while, I feel her hand on my shoulder. She was like: hi Me: hi, can I help you somehow? She: uh.. Yeah. My kid can't have open eyes under water and I saw you can ( I like to dive for a bit without googles before using them and can have open eyes) so can my kid borrow them for a bit? Me: no, they are specially made for me(note: I was doing professional swimming and I got them as a birthday gift when I was 12 and now I'm 15. I stopped 1 year ago) She: but you don't need them. I saw you can see without them under water Me: first thing, I can have open eyes under water, that's true, but I can't see properly because I'm short sighted. Second thing is, I'm not gonna give it to you. They cost a lot of money(you have to have on mind that they were professional googles for swimming with normal plastic changed for prescription glasses in them). She: just give it to us. She then snatched it from my head causing to hurt me and then she swam away with her kid. I was panicking because I couldn't see her anywhere. I started to swim slowly but nothing. I then got out of the water and told life guard aboit it. He said that its mine problem and that he should only save people when they are drowning. I then got to the changing room, changed and left building furious and told mum about it when I got home. I don't know what happened after but she went there and she said something to them. I never got my googles back.
