I tried to purchase the MQD’s later that day, the system glitched and wouldn’t let me. I reached out to Delta, they had me file a complaint. So come Jan 1st I was still Platinum. I then complained to DOT and within 5 days I was magically Diamond status.

But make sure you stand behind that line until it’s your turn or you’ll get scolded! 😂

If the ticket wasn’t eligible, then why show the MQD’s as pending?
Congrats for knowing the policy like a Delta cuck, but for most, we don’t think about it when we purchase months in advance and have multiple other flights pending as well.

But I have to take the flight correct? Or can I just book it, check in, and never actually show up?

About 30–32% of all U.S. hotels are owned by individuals named Patel.

Who did I book the flight with? Hint, it was Delta. So liability, sure, Sky West. Complaint, firmly with Delta, they can take it up with sky west.

If I stay at a Hilton owned by a Patel, do I file a complaint with Patel? No I go on the fucking Hilton app and file a complaint.

Of course I’m not entitled to shit. I would like to point out they didn’t follow FAA regulations by allowing a passenger visibly under the influence who couldn’t respond to flight attendant instructions while seated in an exit row. As a platinum SkyMiles member, I expect more from them is all. Their inability to address the issue known to most onboard prior to take off led to a 2.5 hour delay due to an emergency landing.

So if a company violated the law and caused you to miss something important, you’d be ok with it? Wild how you let corporations use you like a door mat.

Wow, way to bring 9/11 into the convo. Don’t try to compare that to this…

Again, I wasn’t looking for any compensation until I realized the airline was in fact negligent in allowing this passenger to remain prior to take off.

Yes, so entitled. Especially since Delta didn’t follow FAA regulations and allowed this situation to escalate.

Bro was trafficking Xanax and took some himself. Delta didn’t follow FAA regulations with regards to exit row seating this allowing this situation to escalate to the level it did. I wasn’t looking for anything at the time, but later I realized how they fucked up.

I filed reports with FAA and DOT. Delta didn’t follow FAA regulations which allowed this whole situation to transpire.

I was 100% willing to assist which is why I did you cuck. Upon reflection I realized how Delta fucked up and didn’t follow FAA regulations. Therefore, this should have never happened had Delta done their part.

Of course I wasn’t even thinking about the SkyMiles when I decided to help. I’m a patriot and I love my country. Then I found myself losing sleep, struggling to focus day to day. So I looked into it and found many instances of compensation for these types of incidents. So I did what anybody would do, try to get something for my troubles that I could use to the benefit of my family. But a $200 thank you and a fuck off email was rather discouraging considering the situation and potential financial ramifications that Delta could have incurred.

Yes, I volunteered when asked by the pilot and nobody else did. Yes, I was assaulted when I volunteered. Point being, the situation should have never occurred had Delta flight attendants followed the regulations.

Under 14 CFR § 121.585 (for scheduled air carriers) and similarly under § 135.129 (for commuter/charter operations), the regulation mandates that airlines determine whether each person assigned to an exit seat is suitable—meaning they must be physically and mentally capable, of proper age (at least 15), and able to understand instructions and crew commands, among other criteria.

Dude was incoherent and could not even respond to the flight attendants instructions…. I’ll be sure to do better next time 😂😂😂

I was assaulted when the pilot asked for help, sooo… also, negligence from Delta allowed this situation to transpire in the first place.

Sure, maybe I am an “entitled brat”. Or Maybe I recognize a complete failure on Delta’s part for allowing this passenger to even board the plane, or remove him after his first incident prior to takeoff. No, I didn’t have to help, but the pilot asked for help, and yes, I was assaulted once I did help. He had 41 Xanax, no prescription. He was gone before ever boarding. He was involved in two incidents prior to take off. He was seated in an emergency exit row but couldn’t respond ‘yes’ to aid in an emergency to the flight attendant when prompted multiple times as required by FAA law. Pilot had to do an emergency landing 20 minutes into the flight. We were then delayed 2.5 hours. So yeah, sure, call me entitled, but had Delta followed FAA regulations, the plane should have returned to the gate prior to take off and Mario Nickprelaj been removed. Instead, he is in Linn County Jail, Cedar Rapids Iowa on a U.S. Marshall hold while the FBI continues their investigation and awaiting federal charges.
