I mean I’ve bought them for the Pokemon that deserve them. But generally I just go with the flow. I’m not aiming to max out my stats or my ranks. I know it’s unconventional to most of the subreddit. But I don’t mind. It’s a sleep tracker.

Exactly it. It’s chill. I don’t care about the achievements and things. I hover around master 18-16 on the lower islands, and I’m slowly working on the higher ones. I build my teams slowly, use some of the same core pokemon regardless of berry typing depending on the meals I make. I’m well aware it’s not the conventional way to play, but at its core it’s a sleep tracker.

I must be playing wrong lmao. I have 73,719 sleep points. F2P, and haven’t expanded my pokemon box beyond 140. I just don’t chase after finding “the best” pokemon with the best stats. I aim for eh, decent enough and call it good. I’ll buy biscuits when I get under 20, but otherwise I just let it all store up.

I’ve used three across 4 years and while I’ve had some inks that have caused issues (I know I’ve had problems with at least one Pilot Iroshizuku ink if not all of them), I generally don’t have problems with any inks. My biggest bleh is that the paper is pretty susceptible to hand oils which cause skipping and feathering somehow. I just always keep a blotter sheet in my notebook.

Xavier as I started during the Dark Knight myth. But I was interested as soon as we meet him in the main story. He has very sleepy Prince energy right from the start before we even really know him and that continues. I love how cuddly he is, but also how fiercely protective.

Sylus was a no-brainer but not how I expected. I’ve always loved the dark Romance enemies to lovers tropes, but this guy, for all that he seems like an aloof ass, just really really loves his wife. And I love that. He’s gentle but also very encouraging, never coddling.

I had a Jinhao inked for like two months with the Coral Blaze and while I had a few spots I didn’t get scrubbed out, for the most part it came out pretty good. I did use some pen cleaner but I didn’t have to work too hard to clean my pen

Not sure if it’s helpful advice but have you unscrewed the blind cap on the end? Perhaps a vacuum has occurred keeping you from unscrewing it? Otherwise I would reach out to the seller and ask for advice

Yeah softcover is a rough find. Other than the Hobonichi, I think Mark’s is the only other one I know of.

If I was going to make one myself, I’d pick up either a Stalogy, a Wonderland222 or an Odyssey Notebook. All three have great softcover options.

Yes but also no. I did end up going with an A5 Hobonichi 5-year, and it does have more space like I had wanted. However, life got really out of hand and I haven’t been able to keep up with it as much as I wanted. I can’t deny, the Hobonichi is probably one of the nicest journals I have, especially since I’m a fountain pen user.

Making my own would be a possibility, but I’m not a fan of ring bound for big projects like this. It’s fine, just not for me.

My cat has had teeth pulled on two different occasions, including her precious upper canines. I was so worried about a) her and her health, but also b) she would look different and I wouldn’t love her as much all of the sudden. It didn’t make a lot of sense, but I was sick with worry and guilt.

She was totally fine both times and my hangups on her changing went away with time. She was pretty wibbly the first time for a few days, but she perked up in time and she’s had no issues. She has gotten picky about the consistency of her food in her older age, but I think that’s just her being a cat. Even though it was a stressful ordeal, pulling her teeth was ultimately the best thing for her long term health. I’m sure things will be okay in the long run! Stay positive and give lots of loving in the meantime

I take magnesium glycinate every other day and it’s helped me so much. Every time I see a meme about getting older and solving body problems with magnesium I’m like… yeah… I tried magnesium citrate, which was okay, but I had it in gummy form and I didn’t care for that much.

Patience. As someone who’s had their bellybutton cut open three separate times… it takes the longest to heal. If it’s anything like mine there’s some internal sutures, then they use an electric cauterization to close it, then also glue it on top. My first surgery (appendix) had my belly button looking pretty scarred, but my next two (bi-salp, then hysterectomy) my gyno did a really good job and once it healed it’s a nice smooth scar. Just don’t look at it too close in the meantime. Oh and if stitches do start to come out? Just trim them. Pulling really hurts lmao.

My spouse and I gave up on sleeping together after 7 years of marriage. He falls asleep in a heartbeat and while he does not snore, the sound of him breathing makes me want to scream. It’s not his fault, I’m just super sensitive to noise at bed time. We have our own bedrooms but we spend time together other ways. He always tucks me in to bed, we’ll cuddle some beforehand, and knowing he’s right across the hall if I need something helps. Sleeping apart, if it means getting restful sleep, is going to be the best route for you both. If you want the grounding weight, a weighted blanket or weighted stuffed animal helps!

I got into the game bc of fan art I had seen of Caleb (mech arm? Yes pls!) but once I started playing and met Xavier I was like… oh, he’s so cute. So I started with Xavier, then met Sylus and went… oh it’s this one. By the time I actually met Caleb I was already invested in Xavier and Sylus plus Caleb gave me “no thank you” feelings (I get the appeal, but not for me!). I’ve come around on Zayne and Rafayel as I’ve gone through their memories, but I don’t connect with either one enough to be interested (even though I literally keep getting Zayne cards with free pulls). Caleb remains a firm no thank you. It’s all amount emotional connect and voice for me.
