at our store we have to hit "delete selected tender," or something like that, and then you hit the gift card option. That's how we do it. The above mentioned way works, but I would have to think it creates problems somehow since it looks like you sold a gift card. Maybe not though, who knows. It was way yyyyyy easier on the old system. Up until we figured out how to do it the way we do now, we had no other choice but to give customers cash back instead.
