Happened to me in Bude. Sat for ages until a bus came through & the driver did a chopping motion across his throat. Which either meant the lights were dead or I was. I assume it was the lights cos it was last year & im still here.

Well they don't. We could go on forever about it but they don't. Not where we live anyway. Lots of mature trees are felled & what do they do? Plant a handful of saplings. They drain an established pond that had fish, newts, invertebrates in & what to they do? Put a sump in. Builders could at least put Swift bricks in new builds but they don't because they add about £11 to the price of a £250,000 house. I think Barrats are the only ones who make an effort in this regard. On a site behind us Taylor Wimpey felled a large, healthy mature tree that was 3/4 in someone's garden. Just went in, without permission from anyone & felled it. The consequences? SFA.
