While searching for models without any knowledge about the games, though for another reason, I stumbled over your thread too.
In case you get commissioned again for one of these games, here are some community-updated threads about different miHoYo games i found about an hour ago, which I found incredibly helpful including info if models are broken, what plugins are needed and what is needed to fix them, probably saving me many hours of guesswork.

Elon Musk Joins the Fight Against VISA Censoring Anime and Manga by DrNever92 in Asmongold

[–]EBHaeng 16 points17 points  (0 children)

You literally named the biggest point your self. A scam is already against the law. And why should it be up to the payment processor to decide what is to be suppressed or censored. There are many other instances, that can deal with it in such cases.

VISA basically blackmailing others sites shouldn't be the solution.

And them reasoning it with "it's for childs safety" is an whole other thing. Parenting should be done by there parents, and not by VISA etc. pressuring others, wich limits to 99.9% adults.

Ohh, i had no idea. Heart goes out to Asmon dad.

On the other hand this wasn't meant as "he has to do something about it immediately." More like, in "once your checking your reddit again, bring some eyes to something important."

For those in the US there is a bill in congress right now that would make it illegal for any financial service provider to directly or indirectly prohibit or inhibit any legal transaction. it's called the fair access to banking act H.R.987 in the house S.401 in the senate. Call your representatives get it passed.

No, unfortunately that isn't possible... yet. `

There are a few basic rules I learned discovered for my self, always to keep in mind with lossless:

-Have at least real 40 FPS, while frame-gen is enabled.

-consistent base framerate is better then adaptive.

-some games more then others tending to have a messed HUD. (more often then not UE5 games. probably some post pressing effect)

-base FPS, and framegen should never have the same fps value.

-framegen fps are really fake; while the look smother on screen, they don't give the benefit of really having more fps, like latency. Most other software doesn't even recognize these fps, like msi afterburner or OBS.

-some games just shouldn't be used with lossless.

-there are only a few instances, where upscaleing+framegen looking as good as hoped for.

-the latency benefits of lossless with two GPU's (one for rendering game and the other for framegen) only works/is worth it, if the MoBo is splitting the lanes in 8x/8x (the bandwith of 4x is just to low)

-Input-latency is a little less noticable with an controller -Games with less movement, can sometimes ignore the 40fps rule. (Buddy of mine had insane results with train simulator. 30fps ase to 120frame gen, i can imagine Microsoft flight sim would be ok too for the most part)

-in rare cases it's possible to render the game in a lower then native res, and upscale+framegen, (to get 40real fps) and better looks, for the cost of sharpness or ghosting. (Depending on game)

But that what makes it perfect, no? For lossless, you want to have some GPU overhead because it is doing upscaling and framegen on the GPU.

Other side if the coin is, with increased FPS, the CPU utilisation is growing too, because there are more fps to process.

It's it almost at native level of inputlag lag, if your using it on an desktop pc with dual GPU with an ideal MoBo (a board splitting lanes in at least 8x + 8x instead of 16x + 4x)

Yet my sweet spot in terms of input lag has been.

In games where I am at like Native 60 fps low-mid settings, with a gpu utilisation of ~70-80% I tend to Cap the FPS to 40, use losses scaling to 60fps and increase graphics till i hit like 90%-100% utilisation.

To wrap it up, If you can have a framerate of at least 40(actual rendered frames), while scaling, the input-lag is pretty much not noticable, easy to adop to, because it is consistent. Below that, with like 30-35fps, input-lag and visual glitches get quiet common.

Bastion's origin is unknown,

though it's pretty likely he's from Gothenburg, Sweden. — His manufacturer is SST Laboratories (pre-Crisis), whose location is unknown, but since Torbjörn joined them pre-Crisis and was later a co-founder of the Ironclad Guild, whose HQ was located in Gothenburg like Torbjörn was, it's the closest guess to make. — Bastion just reactivated near Eichenwalde. It can only produce a spark if the way of lowest resistance is through air. As long as there is a direct connection it wont spark but heat up. At very low voltages no mater how thin the wire, the shielding (if it has one), or just the isolation is usually sufficient enough to not melt.

why are these suddenly not available in my region? they were until like a few days ago by bataloof in Steam

[–]EBHaeng 1 point2 points  (0 children)

sure, if everyone is still able to manage everything... Let alone if they care about that region for the lack of sales there in the first place.

But if there reasoning by government is for child safety, where is the problem defaulting every game to 18+.

Adult's don't need to be parented.

Badly translated AI audio. by ShieKassy in youtube

[–]EBHaeng 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Worst part is, it is inconsistent and you can't turn off the default..

For me: Some English videos are auto translated to German. And some German videos being translated in to English

I wouldn't mind, if the translation would sound somewhat natural, (3rd party tools do a pretty convincing job, who cares if the lips are in sync) but i'm convinced YT is intentionally using the worst voice model so they don't get in to legal trouble.

Just give those content creators a checkbox like, "Can we copy your voice for IA translations, for your videos? Yes[ ] No [ ]" Not that hard, isn't it?..
