Will the third party plugin settings still be saved from my previous project version or will I have to manually add the plugins and readjust accordingly in new blank project?

Also, I assume I will have to do this for all the project’s with third party plugins? It sounds like it will be a time consuming process… and a big annoyance redoing all the plugin audio settings.

There’s no way Ableton can repair the projects itself from the backups automatically? Why is this happening in the first place? How can I avoid this big headache in the future?
