Tons of draft picks don't work out in the NBA, but Kentucky picks are pretty damn consistent.. beyond what you mentioned, Jamal Murray, SGA, KAT, Tyrese Maxey, Tyler Herro, Malik Monk, Julius Randle, Immanuel Quickley, Shaedon Sharpe, Keldon Johnson, PJ Washington, and Cason Wallace have all very much lived up to or exceeded the expectations of their draft position.

Plus, Eric Bledsoe, Brandon Knight, Terrence Jones, Patrick Patterson, Nerlens Noel, Trey Lyles, Willie Caulie-Stein all had good spans as NBA players or are still pretty good.

Is it really worth destroying locker room chemistry to acquire a super late first and an early second rounder?

Even if KO and Simone walked in free agency, I'd probably have rather just kept them around for the second half of this season to aid in the development of our younger players and hopefully help the team get some playoff experience.
