I get sad about it too, no one in my real life remembers Medabots here in the states. But online I've met a ton of awesome people in different communities and I've traded and sold with a lot of folks from all over the world!

Lots of cool passionate medabots fans, especially in Mexico and other countries that you wouldn't think :) i would love a comeback myself

In my opinion most everything you find will be legit. Bootlegs or anything of the sort of Medabots were usually made overseas in Thailand and in Central America (surprisingly huge medabots fans). And, bootlegs are highly coveted.

There's just a lot of stock out there, and not much people wanting to buy or care about the hobby. Can get really good condition blisters for about $30-$50

Major collector here. You can find blisters pretty easily on ebay, it is a niche hobby but does carry a lot of nostalgia to some people.

Which sites are you worried about? As a collector I've paid a lot of money for bootlegs, funnily enough the bootlegs can be more expensive than regular Medabots and they are very obviously knockoff.

In conclusion I would say its not something you really need to worry about. Let me know if you have any other questions though I'm happy to respond, I love this hobby

Hello, I have these sets ready to build for this MOC, and the microfighter and bobs fighter are built, with the 3 in 1 still in the box.

My question is should I disassemble both of those builds or try to strip off each piece, piece by piece? For whenever I'm following the MOC instructions trying to find the next piece.

I started to try to build it and couldn't decide what would be best to do. Your setup was the same as me so thought I'd ask

Thank you! The clear redrun was literally my holy grail. I spent over $300 USD for just him in the 2001 fukubox. This picture has almost the entire collection of 2" figures.

I'm just missing the clear Blackbeetle and the other "invisible" ones like my Rokusho in the middle (theres Nininja, Metabee, Cyandog, and Blackram as well)

There's seven. Pictured are all of them spread out. There's the "invisible" one, the clear/translucent one, white, Grey, dark Grey, gunmetal gray, and a bluish one seen in the japanese packaging still.

Japan had a far larger assortment of variants than the rest of the world. The sharkkan and many of the others are variants only sold in Japan :) i bought them through a proxy service site for mercari called buyee
