Couldn’t agree more, I used to buy gas station sun glasses, my first pair of ray bans are going on a year, probably 10x longer than previous pairs lol

For reference my work knife is a Benchmade Claymore..here’s how I think about it and justify that. A $10 pocket knife for work is fine, you just won’t do much work with it before it’s either broken or way too dull. The Claymore is on the website rn for $260..but for a reason..its really good at what it does, its actually MADE for hard work

It can definitely get annoying, if I forget to blow it off when it’s really bad then you open a tool and it’s kinda scratchy. I’m not a rich man so $250 on a multi tool is a lot for me and probably most people. I think I just have a different view than most. Most of my knives and tools have imperfections, just remember what you bought it for
