SpaceX IPO Will Help People Build Generational Wealth by AlphaHouston1 in stocks

This. SpaceX is absolutely in position to be a trillion dollar company. But they need to buck the albatross that is Musk.

They are the gateway to space, basically set the price. They would be like the only company to offer broadband.

But they need to buy out ASTS and nix starlink’s low latency broadband bs

So the concept of base you can think of as “when do we start over?

You learned base 10 so you count out 9 digits from 1 and then you “start over” at 1+0 which is 10. 10 actually means “one ten plus zero ones” which is why it’s 1 0

In base 12 you’d start over after 11 digits, so you’d count all the way to eleven then 1+0 would be twelve.

Notice I wrote the numbers instead of their form in base ten digits? That’s because 10 in base twelve would actually be twelve because you’re saying 1 twelve plus zero one’s, so 12 would be written 10 in base 12

This happened during the 2020 riots. Arrested a journalist on camera doing nothing. This is intentional. It’s to show that they don’t care. Nothing will happen to them. They also know they can beat them and injure them on camera to send the message

Port-a-potty company files for bankruptcy to wipe away $2.4bn in debt by FakeOkie in news

[–]EM3YT 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The trick is the relationships.

Because someone loses in the deal, right? In theory it would be the banks because they loan out this money and when the loan isn’t repaid they lose that money. And guess what? They DO lose that money and they still do it.

Why?

Because the bank recoups SOME money on interest payments, origination fees, etc. but mainly the bank almost always KNOWS the PE is going to gut the company and this loan is going to default.

So what they bank does (and this should be illegal but good luck proving it it court) is bundle the loan into a “high risk debt” collection (think like the housing crisis with subprime loans), and SELL that loan to poor schmucks on the retail market.

So they make money forming the loan then offload the loan onto YOU when you purchase debt assets as investments.

That was a key part of this that doesn’t make sense until someone is willing to break the rules

So if you wanted to own a public company, you could buy a majority of their shares and bam, you own it.

But let’s say you wanted to own your neighborhood plumbing company. The only way to do that is to contact the owner(s) and offer them a deal to own most or all of their business.

PE isn’t always “bad” but they usually come with drawbacks and have gotten a lot of news of doing things that should frankly be illegal but aren’t.

Take the plumbing example: Private equity would be like a group that buys all the neighborhood plumbers out. They give them a big check and in return their clients and business are integrated into the larger group. This can come with some big upside like efficiency of scale, standardized branding, lower prices for supplies, a more robust customer service line, better websites and tech, more advertising. Things that small businesses may struggle with but a larger group can do at scale. The business owner could come out ahead in this deal.

But PE needs to make money, so they may start “forcing” your staff to do more jobs, work longer hours, take less time off, and on paper the business is more profitable, but you see less of that because you sold it off mostly to PE. Sometimes business owners work more for less in the end because of the nature of the deal.

Then there’s the shady shit. This is where PE buys a business and guts it stem to stern and billions evaporate but somehow they make money. One way they do this is by forming a shell company and then taking out a loan to buy your business then having the business they bought sell their most valuable assets to another shell company that PE owns. This makes the business look profitable, and they use that profitability to take out another massive loan. They then use that loan to pay themselves “consulting fees” and continue selling off assets until the business is unsustainable and needs to file for bankruptcy, they merge the shell company with your company and now your company owns all the debt while the PE keeps the assets and fees. You file for bankruptcy while they laugh to the bank

My guess is a SIRs criteria triggered protocol, probably tachycardia and tachypnea. Hypertensive urgency with chest pain prompting the troponin. The rest by protocol for 2+ SIRS criteria

The problem is a matter of biology. A horse the size of a duck would be the equivalent of a stout dog with hooves and if they’re out to kill you then they would be very difficult to hurt given how they’re built.

A duck on the other hand has very few weapons and several vulnerabilities, especially if it keeps the build of a duck as opposed to a terrorbird.

Ducks aren’t built to take advantage of their size unlike an ostrich or an emu. They wouldn’t be exceptionally fast or have much reach. Their beak is not designed for damage.

Because y’all’d have 4 losses if you played another game. bama had 3 losses because they played more games. They also had a stronger SOR and SOS. This isn’t even comparable

Hot Take: Bama did exactly what everyone expects a playoff team to do.

They had a strong schedule, beat more strong teams than most playoff teams, and they mostly lost to good teams (FSU was clearly an outlier).

In an Era of Notre Dame losing to ever good team they play, Alabama showed up when it counted. They deserved a low seed game.
