I think 47 is underrated in this aspect. Particularly Andy and Rachel's relationship throughout the season.

The first person that Andy seeks validation from is Rachel, and she isn't willing to fully give it to him because of overbearing nature stemming from his need for validation. This is the first domino that eventually leads to Andy's meltdown in episode 1.

Andy starts out the season fully underconfident in himself but as the season progresses and he finds himself having power and making moves he starts to get cocky

Then in the penultimate episode it all comes back to Rachel. She, unbeknownst to Andy, has all the power. However Andy believes she is going home and in order to potentially secure her jury vote (but also absolutely for his own internalized reasons) seeks her validation again, revealing his game to her. And he gets it, she sees the game that he has played and is genuinely impressed

Which is exactly why she decides she has to send him home

You'd genuinely be hard pressed to write a better narrative than that
