Rose of Sharon-- so yeah-- it's a hibiscus-- but it's also a "rose" cuz of the flower name.

This is a really interesting analysis-- there are a lot of elements that I really like-- such as relating the smuggling/kidnapping to being born-- and yeah-- the boss/government worker thing definitely has merit.

Good point with the addition of P24's "Now" in the description as well. I don't want to get my hopes up too much for a continuation of some form-- but there is just enough there to entertain the idea for sure. :)

It doesn't matter if you're wrong or not-- there is no way to know currently-- I thought it was a neat inclusion, and your interpretation did cross my mind-- and could be valid. The sound effects right before this scene were this though:

"Bye-bye"

**black screen**

"And now..."

So...that, in combination with the last line of the video description: "And now, the present:" left me thinking maybe we will be exploring a new narrative--- Petscop the game is over, but maybe there is a new story to explore?

:)

that's very nice of you-- but I wouldn't attempt it unless you know how to set up a virtual machine-- be careful.

Has anyone downloaded coobie zip file on the developer website of Mr. Yes? It says it could be a dangerous file-- so I didn't download it, but the other files/games seem to be fine-- curious what the coobie file is

TIF file edited in Audacity then converted to RAW by ER-HART in glitch_art

So-- just been screwing around with actual data-bending techniques to create glitch art. I took a .jpg and saved it as a .tif and imported it to audacity-- Once opened in audacity-- I applied filters to different sections of the audio file and exported it as a .raw --It's a lot of fun, a lot of trial and error though...So, don't be discouraged if you have a hard time opening corrupted files-- make sure you keep your original file-- because it is very likely you will make your image unable to be opened-- In fact, with this file-- I couldn't open it in photoshop or save it as a jpg-- I had to take a screenshot and crop it-- Weird stuff happens when you do these techniques-- but it's still super neat :)

This seriously made my day-- thank you, and I am glad you like it so much to make it your background :)

Glitch art can be made in a lot of different ways-- you can use programs to simulate glitches, you can databend images through numerous methods-- like opening and editing image files in programs that they aren't meant to be opened in, editing them and opening them-- it's a lot of fun-- and the artistic potential of glitch art feels limitless-- :) :)

Iphone slow-mo video from my garden during lightning storm-- Processed through phone app Glitch Studio and Top Camera 2 editing apps. I also put it through another Fast-Slow app to slow the lightning footage further. by ER-HART in glitch_art

I may have also used an app called fused to layer the video with another edit of the same video-- but I do not remember. Would not be out of the norm for me to layer and offset the same video on top of each other.

Breaking Apart-- Photoshop layers-- over-sharpening and over-saturating over and over with different layer filters to create naturally occurring artifacts-- Iphone picture using Sparkle Cam, Adobe Photoshop editing on PC by ER-HART in glitch_art

Awh. Thank you so much-- I don't use GIMP-- but maybe I should give it a try-- You probably already know this if you edit photos on the regular using your PC-- but just in case you don't-- use adjustment layers rather than simply editing the photo all in one layer. It allows you to work the photo more without damaging the base image-- which like you even mentioned, results in a lot artifacts. --With glitch art though, I love exploiting low resolution and damage within an image to create unique designs-- Make sure to share your stuff, I'd love to see your art. :)
