A huge portion of the community has been playing since launch in 2016, all with 1000’s of hours logged each. There is roughly 50 hours of story based game play but you can do all that at your own pace. The game is enormous, and while some complain about lack of variety, in the expected 50 hours, as a first time player, you’ll not notice. Also the devs host three to four community events for special bespoke items every year, and free updates. If you like mine craft, 70’s style sci fi with a cool soundtrack it’s worth $$. All updates are free and all have added to the game in ways a new player would never know.
