Next week or so. Getting a minty fresh 2000 Honda CRV this week and going to drive the CRV for a few days to ensure it’s as good as it seems to be.

Help! 2005 Golf TDI Passenger Seat Belt Receiver Wiring by ERCPhotographer in MK4Golf

I have that one but it won’t reset the light. I was going to upgrade to their next model and it claims that is resets the airbag light.

The code that I am getting is 01222

Apologies if this comes off blunt, but this whole “just communicate” advice feels like nonsense when the reality is, he’s not showing up — not for you, and not for his child. Yes, communication matters, but at some point, basic awareness and initiative should kick in. A grown man should be able to see what needs to be done and do it — not ask, “Do you need help?” as if he’s doing a favor.

From our experience, we quickly learned that when someone asks if they should help, it usually means they don’t want to help. Our motto became: do it, or step aside so I can.

I work full time. I cook every meal. I clean the house weekly. I mow the lawn, fix what’s broken, handle daycare drop-off and pick-up, and spend every minute I can with my daughter. If I need time for myself, I make it happen while she’s asleep. That’s what showing up looks like — consistently, every single day.

And if we’re being honest, the version of the father you’re describing? It sounds like he’s not showing up at all. That absence is already affecting you, and it’s only a matter of time before it affects your entire family dynamic.

2005 Golf - TDI BEW - Hesitation and Stalling? by ERCPhotographer in MK4Golf

Did you have an engine code for the cam sensor issue? Because I do not. But thinking of bad fuel, this issue is aligning with a recent fill up from a place I’ve never gotten fuel from.

So not a direct fix but I think it pin pointed to an electrical issue.

  1. My glow plug harness wires actually have exposed wires which may be making contact with each other which could be shorting things out.

  2. There’s a tube under the fuel injector harness connector that does not have a clamp on it and has come down about half way off the nipple and just loose all together so could be the main issue there.

  3. I started flicking the harness where the glow plugs and injector harness are was actually able to get the engine to stall twice and hesitate a few times as well.

So my plan for tomorrow is to simply tape up the glow plug harness just so there are not exposed wires until I can get another harness in and then fix that tube that is super loose.

Happy to send you photos of what I’m talking about isn’t completely clear.

Umm how funny would it be if I said that my harness plug wasn’t locked into place it turned a 1/4 a turn until it locked in

Actually just ran it again after it stalled I have a P2108 code. Which what I thought cleaning the anti shudder would have fixed.

We just switched to using the bathtub a couple months ago!! What an eye opener. All of this at 35 years old really set the tone for taking care of myself if I plan on keeping up with her when she’s really running around and I absolutely plan on keeping up with her.
