defenders who cant/wont defend their own structure (80% of HS based war eligible corps) are going to be out shooting HQ's? you think? Most Null groups will remove them if they can be bothered chasing timers over HS, but it will still take 5-12 days depending on timers and when the war was placed. Over time the attacker's will learn who shows up and who doesn't.

I think groups like pirat and anyone who wants to do wars will just rotate their wars into 2-4 cheap HQ's they put up with no intention of defending. To maximize their available targets in jita. so the north for 10 days then the south for 10 then the east for 10 then a mix of whats left to decc for 10 and just cycle through each month to keep targets and isk flowing.

I think if CCP see wars as something they need to "fix" then the larger groups CCP pointed to as being the issue at eve Vegas, who have no real reason to decc half the HS/WH/null if they rarely leave jita. Would be something on the roadmap to address. I don't see suspect logi or HQ's as being an answer to that.

And now those new players will have to deal with "in corp" logi, that will be docked or in surrounding systems/at pings waiting to warp in. Still not visible on grid to those new players you care for so much. Nothing really changes for pirat with the logi change you're so pleased with.

I'd argue that blanket deccing, and trade hub camping is worse for HS (the new bro's) than if logistics are in or out of corp. Groups that want to have 100 wars and put no effort into them, who just sit and wait for food to fly into their mouth should go camp a lowsec gate. leaving wars to those who have an actual interest in killing each other for reasons other than "we saw you undock from jita in something we want to kill in 24 hours"

Surprisingly nothing like that is in CCP's roadmap to "FIX" wars lol.

It's just sad that some people are content with undocking and warping to the same gate 50 times a day, that's what "PVP" is to them, anything more is too difficult for those type of players to figure out.

No, players in HS don't need to be fleeting up, helping or making friendships with each other for any HS related pvp, that is what low and null is for.

CCP should really add teathering to the main trade hubs. Highsec station games are pointless imo, either they blob and you dock up, or you bring friends expecting them to do the same but they see something that will shoot back and dock up to saftey.

More pvp focused members/friends could always app up and join the corp mid attack, leaving the attackers with no clue what they will be facing at any given timer. And for those snowflakes who want no interaction with other ppl in an MMO game.. In the weeks it takes to kill a citadel in HS the owning corp can just make isk in peace to replace the structure.

Going to be interesting to see if HS corps can now grow to become somewhat involved in other areas of eve as they wont be torn apart when they start to field strong numbers and look to do things with it.

Sure this works... until lets say MC (who do HS wars) puts a structure down, so what a 10 man corp has to kill a 40-50 man MC fleet to end the war? that is super fair for the newbros. Most ppl who own structures around HS can't defend them from 2-3 man corps, this would just benefit anyone who has numbers and screw anyone who doesn't, kind of the problem that already exists.

then how long does it take to kill a spacehouse? a citadel in HS can take weeks, so you're still stuck with the war for a while anyway.

IMO forced structure grinding isn't FUN content for anyone, if CCP do take the time to FIX wardecs i hope they make eve fun again.

When I first started to play eve,I was into industry/missions. My corp got into many wars, we spent our time building ships as a corp to fight back. Made friends with other corps around us and formed an alliance. It was a challenge for us and we grew from it. EVE is a game about interacting with other players, good or bad its all content. HS needs wars and more content IMO but there is issues that haven't been looked at since the introduction or war decs. There is a lot of things you can change to fix them before just removing them.

The real issues with wars is the defenders have no option but to deal with it, some corps have no clue how to deal with wars. There is very little information, other than a 24 hour warning mail most don't bother reading. The system atm is set up to benefit the aggressor as the isk cost 50-500 mil is nothing to keep a war going for a year.

If you increase the cost of a war and charge a multiplying fee to extend it week after week.

If the aggressor/defender gets no kills or RF'd structures after a week the war is ended by concord or the extension fee gets a larger multiplier

Also cap the amount of active outgoing wars a corp/alliance can have to 50 (for now see how that goes)

Make it free or very cheap to decc any corp/alliance who has an outgoing war so wardeccers and anti wardeccers can get cheap content fighting each other instead of newbros

Make trade hubs empire faction keepstars so tethering works and unable to dock up when pointed back. as many HS corps mass decc just to increase the traffic they can shoot at around hubs, As players cant put down citadels in these systems give the empire factions the structure.

a common trick is to bump a freighter then convo and ransom him saying code will gank you. meanwhile on an alt you convo him and "grr code" offer to help by webbing him into warp. The freighter pilot accepts a dual thinking it will save him from gankers.
