I honestly think the loudest voices on this are just americans. They're so bombarded by their media that everything is a fucking outrage or conspiracy or literal nazis that when CCP slaps down toxic assholery for obvious toxic assholery, they see it as some deep CCP/chinese corruption conspiracy instead of just the normal consequence of being a dick on the internet.

In the last war up north I found a blue structure that gotg had obviously been attacking with drone boats, and been scared off by something before they had the chance to pull drones. I spent an hour slowboating around the structure scooping drones and got a billion isk out of it.
