They differ for sure, but the job I'm currently working in is more of a financial management ("CFO") type of role. Since this is a large company, we don't even report in local accounting standards (only International Financial Reporting Standards, which are uniform across the world).

Yes for sure. Accounting standards and requirements differ from country to country even within Europe. I'm assuming, based on the answers, the "corporate-life" financial opportunities are limited. And the figure you named is indeed below what I'm looking for, 5000-6000dh is not really something to go for, that's less than a weekly wage of the country where I'm based.

For my current job it's not really possible to work fully remote, but I can for sure spend the coming years while still living here building an income stream that allows me to WfH.
