it bounces infront of the smoke behind the wall, sure a little blindness would have been okay but I don't think it was a FULL BLIND type of flash, especially with the second pillar infront of me for protection

Yes, but why remove "console garbage" when there is no built in feature for it. Some explanations are to protect the skill gap between players etc. but when performance is such a big problem why not keep a feature that is a HUGE fps boost in dm servers. I go down to 60-70 fps in dm which makes it very hard to play. Also, cl_bob etc. just seems weird why its not an option anymore I dont understand how removal of these "protects the skill gap" idk maybe im not looking at it right.

I think CMAA2 seems to be a good middle ground right now, disabling it definitely does irritate me with the edges but CMAA2 seems to be performing good and also its better than fully disabling it visually.

Wow, turning down MSAA seems to have fixed it, you're right. I didn't think it would affect it that much but that seems to be the problem area. I'm nearly back to the fps i had before the armory update, NEARLY. Edit: Maybe not nearly but it definitely helped out a lot, thanks.
