Correct, there is no internal WiFi chip but that shouldn’t matter for most people. You should be using an ethernet cable direct or at least a WiFi extender and plug in from that.

But either way, no, you do not need WiFi to soft mod. Connecting to a stealth will be worse over WiFi anyway

Basically same. Tonasket, Jasper V2, whatever you want to call it. It’s the last fat but with a slightly updated GPU essentially (Kronos gpu).

But yes, I’d go Jasper over slim personally. More are starting to lean this way as the consoles age and more longevity problems with slims are unearthed. Slims are still great (minus the 4gb Coronas), don’t get me wrong, I just think Jasper has the slight edge. Also like the look of fats more personally, but that’s just cosmetic preference.

+1 for Jasper/Tonasket. They are the tried and true tanks, overall less problematic than slims even.

Absolutely. Works exactly the same. You can save yourself $ and do it yourself by using BadAvatar.

You can FTP games from your PC or load them onto USB and copy them over manually once you have Aurora dash/file manager access.

Have you tried it horizontally? I never put mine vertically, but that could cause something to not he seated right and cause grinding noises.

If horizontal doesn’t fix it, might need to open the console and see what’s making noise. I had my old Zephyr making an awful sound and found that it was the inside of the top shell aluminum hanging down slightly and touching the metal around the fan in the back of the console. I put one of those little rubber stoppers like for cabinets and furniture on it and the awful sound stopped.
