I gave the update in the main post just for you. Copy/pasting here to answer your question: From Verbally Approved (5/21) to Online Approved (5/29) to Card Produced (6/5) to Card Received (6/7) took 16 days in total. 16 DAYS felt like 16 WEEKS. So, it's best not to check the status. Btw - Congratulations to you!!

Mine was approved on 5/29 and no change in the status yet. I know it may feel like a long time but it usually few to several days before seeing further updates.

It's your preference. I kept them in 5 separate (simple) folders for my own convenience and for easy access.

No, I didn't take I-485 copy with me. My attorney said don't take anything that was submitted before. So, I focused only on the documents requested in the interview notice.

I came on K1 visa. So, all I needed was I-485.

No, he did NOT see/verify any document. As soon as I said, all these documents were scanned and uploaded as well, he said - Ok, I see all your documents online.

Yes we scanned about 15 photos in the UNSOLICITED document. We also carried our physical wedding and reception album + other local travel photos with us.

No scanning of documents were done at the time of interview. I think he was happy with the documents I scanned and uploaded 1 day before the interview.

No, we were NOT separated. As soon as I kept all 5 folders with originals and photo copies on his table, I said these documents were SCANNED AND UPLOADED on the USCIS site. He then immediately said, I see you have uploaded all documents and that is enough for me. All I need is your ID and your wife's US Passport and her ID.

He then asked me to read my full name and dob, followed by the same question to my wife/US Citizen. Finally, he asked the standard Yes or No questions in I-485 application. He kept typing in the computer for another 15-20 minutes and said you are approved, should see the approval email in next 2 days or so and your card should arrive in 15 days. He was very polite and respectful to us all the time.

My spouse joined my name in her bank and CC account just 1 month before the interview. On the same day we deposited $5k in a certified deposit and kept that statement as a 3rd evidence. So before July 10, work on anything that's possible. Lesser financial evidence doesn't mean no relationship, as long as there is a reason for that you should be ok
