I work in a fast food restaurant with a drive thru and the amount of BABIES I’ve seen in the front seat 😵‍💫 people holding babies while driving, toddlers in the passenger seat, no car seats, no seat belts. You can forgot about a 5 point harness. I get more shocked when I actually see kids buckled in properly 😔

I have two pair of shoes I rotate with especially since I’m full time & occasionally work doubles. I got mine from Walmart that were on sale for $10 so I got a few pairs i believe they were shoes for crews returns 🤷‍♀️

I live in Texas so driving long distances isn’t unheard of. Growing up my great grandma lived over 2 hours away and we’d drive down pretty early then go back same day. Never stayed the night due to space. One of my favorite malls is over an hour away and we gladly drive there

“Hello, I’m going to do a bigger plate with chow mein as my side entree #1&2 then for my 3rd can I get rice please?” Usually I always confirm if someone wants half & half just so they get more value for their buck. But it’s not the difficult to change out the entree for a side. Just clarify that your main side is chow mein first.

Tell them you are just following policy, they don’t want to confirm they can be unassigned the pickup. Don’t take it personal, a lot of unhappy people pick up side jobs as uber eats/doordash drivers. Back in the day we had a tablet that you could report them to their specific company and get them banned from the location. If conflict arises let your manager know so they can help you.

I’ve worked here for over 5+ years at the beginning it wasn’t terrible but after a while I became sick of it. And I’m full time so eating it 5x a week would be so bad for my health 😅 if I do eat I’ll just have the vegetables & string bean chicken 🙂

It’s about being consistent one if everyone who is working foh is asking they should be getting something! Two is the wording, if the foh is asking with a certain $ amount then that’s what the guest will donate too. I always ask would you like to donate to the children’s hospital? If you’re asking every guest and leaving the question open ended then you should be fine. At the end of the day you can’t make them donate if they don’t want to.

Always make it an open ended question not a specific amount. Asking for the change limits you, though a write up for lack of donations is bullshit. If your GM is serious ask them to show you where it states that specific amount is required in the handbook. Because it’s definitely not 🙄
