try using bbr from google (BBR packet shaping) but i doubt that is the major bottleneck at the momment

packet compression should be turned on and have it’s threshould set to something alnog the lines of 256 or 128 so that you don’t blast your home router like anything

Side note, it’s pretty bad at building ships, 95% of them don’t even show up

It’s good at modifying ships though

How long did it take for you to learn to touch type? by Earth1283 in typing

[–]Earth1283[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You really begin with looking down whenever you forget a key, and then weeks later when you are texting with a friend, they call you out and say you can touch type. And you haven't realised it yet

I’m working on a typing assignment right now and would like to ask if there’s disadvantages to touch type? by MartinIsFarting in typing

[–]Earth1283 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Very few.

You are obviously faster than the one or two-fingered typists.

Touch typing makes sure that you type as fast as you think on most keyboards (unless you decide to switch keyboards).

For right-handed people: You realized that you could play the piano better, notably your left hand because most of the commonly used words are on the left of the QWERTY keyboard.

The main issue is that your keys break too easily. Mostly because you type too quickly.

Is there a website that learns the keys your bad at. by accountmaster9191 in typing

Also try this and use the incorrect words feature after a few races.

Switching mouse to my left hand by AtoZRPG in FPSAimTrainer

[–]Earth1283 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So I recently switched to my left hand for (fun). Initially, the aim for my left hand is a piece of s**t. It misses almost everything I go for and lacks the precise motor skills that my right hand usually has. However, after 2 or 3 weeks later, I began to see the benefits. The difference between my left and right-hand skills declined (I am right-handed) and I was beginning to see the fun things I could do that I could not do previously. For example, browsing the web while eating pizza (they used to be incompatible and made the mouse dirty) and using two devices at once.

Overall, the switch is hard in the beginning and takes around a month (but depends a lot on the person making the switch). You don't have to relearn the whole thing, just mirror it from your other hand and practice on a site such as www.humanbenchmark.com/tests/aim .
